Dissolvable frac plug selection checklist.

Dissolvable plugs fail on ID mismatch, wrong differential, or chemistry the alloy did not expect.

Before you order

  • Casing size, weight, and drift ID
  • Max differential during frac
  • Bottomhole temperature during and after pump
  • Fluid chemistry (chloride, pH, additives that affect dissolve)
  • Target dissolve window vs mill contingency
  • Stage count and ball/seat compatibility if applicable
  • Qty, spares, and need-by date

Send the checklist with your quote request. We return a plug configuration with dissolve expectations stated in engineer language.

FAQ

What if dissolve time is uncertain?

Do not guess. Confirm fluid chemistry, temperature, and alloy/coating with the quote. Budget a mill contingency if needed.
